I am one of the youngest in my grade at Grandview High School. This is a little tiny po-dunk town. I don't belong here, especially as I know that I am made for bigger and better things.

My thoughts are more often than not, bigger than my body....a lot of the time causing me to overload my ass with my big mouth. I think what I think, and know what I know....and you'd be surprised how many people have a problem with that.

My family is a little odd. My mom carried her mid-life crisis a little too far, and I ended up with a 24 year old step-father to show for it. She will be 38 this year...and, where I am a firm believer that age is not important, a maturity factor comes into play....and that IS important.

What I can't go to my family with, I usually run to my friends for. I am a very loyal person, and I am rewarded by having a group of the greatest friends a teenager could ask for. They are my strongest support system and I don't know what I would do if I couldn't go running to at least one of them.
Ryan Casey Hand: My boyfriend of almost three years combined...and.....MY CURRENT FIANCE!!!! He makes me happy, and makes me smile. I have never loved anyone in all the years of my life as much as I love him. I know that he is all I need for the rest of my life.
Kelcy Barrett: My bestest friend in the whole wide world. He was my boyfriend for close to a year, when he went off to Colorado for a summer job. The summer held many unexpected turns...including the changes it would bring in both of us...and the re-unition of me and my love...Ryan. I would still not know what to do without him though. He is my *friend* soulmate.
Brandon Peters: My ex-boyfriend...turned great friend. No matter how rocky or strained our relationship gets, we are always there to lean on each other when life gets hard. We've had plenty of fights, but they serve in making us stronger.
Courtenay Paris: Courtenay and I used to be best friends back all through jr. high. Then we grew apart. This year we have started hanging out again, and everyday, she amazes me more.
Laura Brown: Laura is a great friend to me. I am so happy for the new love in her life. Bobby might very well be her Ryan. I am so uber happy for her...she deserves something in her life that makes her smile.
Heather Barrett: She moved away, but came back this year and she is the coolest. She is the mom of the group and keep us all in line. And no...she is not related to Kelcy in any way.
Ashley Dingler: She is the oldest one in the group...but that doesnt mean she makes the best decisions. She was the first person in this god-forsaken High School to make me feel important and like I belonged. I love her with all my heart...and Wetherford is not that far away.

Anyway, these are my friends, my support system, and my life line. They are the greatest.

I am an extreme ANTI-CONFORMIST. I am probably one of the most open minded people you will ever meet. Many others are found in the rest of our tightly woven group of friends. I do not generalize or stereotype, because it is not right when other people do it to me. I am most definitely my own person and I don't try to impress anyone with what I wear, say, or do.
